@  Michael Reyn... : (23 November 2014 - 08:10 PM) I am not a great lover of rats but I can understand just how attached they can get and the worries you have for her
@  Heather : (23 November 2014 - 08:01 PM) Thank you :-). <3. Shes been curled up beside me the last two days like a little cat ^^
@  Michael Reyn... : (23 November 2014 - 07:46 PM) hether I am sorry to hear of your rat I hope the medication will work and things will improve for it
@  divegirl : (23 November 2014 - 07:30 PM) Bless. I hope you both have a better day tomorrow :flowers:
@  Lolastick : (23 November 2014 - 07:14 PM) Haha! He's screamed himself tired poor thing can't keep his eyes open!
@  RachAndIago : (23 November 2014 - 06:47 PM) I'd rather a Macaw scream than any of the high pitched noises, i'd rather have none but hope springs eternal!
@  Heather : (23 November 2014 - 06:25 PM) I honestly thought macaws could only so a low pitched sound. LP sounds like shes trying to audition for 'slipknot'
@  Lolastick : (23 November 2014 - 06:14 PM) I wish haha! I've had Barron who's a macaw about nearly two years the smaller one that's a indian ringneck over two years.
@  Heather : (23 November 2014 - 06:12 PM) Omg! Sound proof cage maybe??! What breed is he? High pitched is deffo waaaaay worse on the ears! How long have you had him for? (Sorry im nosy :-)
@  Lolastick : (23 November 2014 - 06:08 PM) I love Rats I had two when I was younger. Barron's screams are from high to im being murdered screams. Bangs and attacks whatever's around him. My irns scared to talk incase he gets yelled at! I'm not sure on hormones as I'm not sure what months they are. But he is only 4 so he could be starting? It's upsetting me as I'm so confused as to what's hhe matter with him.
@  Heather : (23 November 2014 - 04:46 PM) That must be awful to have barron screaming constantly :-(. Is it high or low pitched? We have sofa drapes that we created into curtains for around LPs cage (instead of a cage cover during the night). If LP screams we shut the curtains, almost immediately she stops, says 'hello' in the cutest voice ever and the curtains are opened again. Works really well!
@  Heather : (23 November 2014 - 04:43 PM) Thanks everyone. <3. I hope she pulls through until the anti tumour arrive. Until her stitches are better im keeping her separate from our other two rats so i habe her with me 24hours a day - on the table when i eat, beside the bed when i sleep. Obviously in her cage when LP is out but rest of day im in bed so she has a warm buddy to sleep beside.
@  divegirl : (23 November 2014 - 04:40 PM) Hormones? Seems to be the answer with most things parroty lol
@  Lolastick : (23 November 2014 - 04:37 PM) Sorry for the bad news:( I don't n kW why barron is screaming constantly. Did this when we first got him.
@  divegirl : (23 November 2014 - 04:26 PM) Oh Heather :( Lots of gentle hugs and healing thoughts for Brioche :rose:
@  Lou : (23 November 2014 - 04:18 PM) i wondered where you had been, im so sorry hun, fingers crossed these new meds have an affect, you know we are all here for you, she is such a fighter though hun, hugs to you and Brioche xxx
@  Heather : (23 November 2014 - 04:15 PM) Brioche had her ninth tumour removed this week, vets ordered us some new concentrated med thats meant to stop the tumours. Im in bed with my Brioche keeping her warm while shes recovering. Im really struggling atm, i love this little rat so much ;-(
@  Lou : (23 November 2014 - 04:13 PM) poor you Lolastick i know how bad that can be, wonder whats triggered that?
