(25 November 2014 - 09:04 PM)Not seen it before, would have thought illegal unless captive bred and close rung?..have seen a couple of Magpies hand reared and flying free back in the day so intelligent and comical, they even spoke a few words..
(25 November 2014 - 08:25 PM)I've just seen a crow advertised for £300 house trained, is this common? they really shouldnt be pets, i raised a chick once but she was kept outside in a tree, learnt to forage and fly and then she found a mate and came back for a bit, was so cool
(24 November 2014 - 12:42 AM)So sorry to read about Brioche, I love rats, they're so intelligent. I hope all goes well for her, and you're caring for her so well, that will strengthen her and make her feel safe.
(23 November 2014 - 06:08 PM)I love Rats I had two when I was younger. Barron's screams are from high to im being murdered screams. Bangs and attacks whatever's around him. My irns scared to talk incase he gets yelled at! I'm not sure on hormones as I'm not sure what months they are. But he is only 4 so he could be starting? It's upsetting me as I'm so confused as to what's hhe matter with him.
(23 November 2014 - 04:46 PM)That must be awful to have barron screaming constantly :-(. Is it high or low pitched? We have sofa drapes that we created into curtains for around LPs cage (instead of a cage cover during the night). If LP screams we shut the curtains, almost immediately she stops, says 'hello' in the cutest voice ever and the curtains are opened again. Works really well!
(23 November 2014 - 04:43 PM)Thanks everyone. <3. I hope she pulls through until the anti tumour arrive. Until her stitches are better im keeping her separate from our other two rats so i habe her with me 24hours a day - on the table when i eat, beside the bed when i sleep. Obviously in her cage when LP is out but rest of day im in bed so she has a warm buddy to sleep beside.
