@  shane12 : (28 July 2015 - 11:18 AM) if you don't mind me asking what is guardian angel scarlett.
@  Scarlett : (28 July 2015 - 11:14 AM) I would ring them and say he`s really bad and it`s an emergency, he`s got worse
@  Scarlett : (28 July 2015 - 11:14 AM) The vets need to appreciate this is urgent, but Friday he could be critical
@  Stinkie : (28 July 2015 - 11:13 AM) If anything happens to him I don't know what I'd do.
@  Scarlett : (28 July 2015 - 11:10 AM) Will the vets give you some antibiotics in the meantime until then? How about if you tell them he`s got worse, sometimes you kind of have to push them I think. I really feel for you, I know what a close relationship you have with him
@  Stinkie : (28 July 2015 - 11:10 AM) I'm going to order some, hopefully i have cash in that bank account, bear with me.
@  Stinkie : (28 July 2015 - 11:09 AM) No he's fully booked until then. Other vets I've taken him too were so clueless they didn't even know how to handle him and asked me to handle him for them. Reluctant to take him to a normal vet tbh, and it's quite cold outside.
@  Scarlett : (28 July 2015 - 11:07 AM) Oh no, won`t they see him before Friday? I can ship guardian angel out to you if he`s not eating then he really could do with some and maybe recovery formula too? Will another vet see him?
@  Stinkie : (28 July 2015 - 11:05 AM) Been given a vet appointment for friday morning. Bought some bananas and daily essentials vitamins for Stinkie, apparently nobody stocks guardian angel anymore. He still hasn't eaten, he's perching near the window and I'm so scared.
@  Scarlett : (28 July 2015 - 10:35 AM) Hoping Essie and Stinkie are ok xx
@  Bradders : (28 July 2015 - 09:10 AM) Aww Essie, such a worry. I bet those minutes feel like hours. Is the vets close by?
@  Stinkie : (28 July 2015 - 08:57 AM) He's had a few nibbles of millet but keeps going back to sleep. Vet should open in 3 mins.
@  Bradders : (28 July 2015 - 08:54 AM) Just came on to see how Stinkie was. Glad he slept well. A trip to the vet will help him on the road to recovery.
@  Scarlett : (28 July 2015 - 07:32 AM) It depends, if the vets can see him today I`d hold off giving him anything, don`t fear psittacosis, if it is that they can treat it. It`s good his breathing seems fine
@  Stinkie : (28 July 2015 - 07:30 AM) Don't mention the P word :( I'm more worried now about getting him to eat when he wakes up again. Was thinking of getting him some Guardian Angel to try and perk him up while I get him to the vets, what do you think?
@  Scarlett : (28 July 2015 - 07:27 AM) As you know Harley sneezes clear discharge but that`s normal for him and not every day, Stinkie seems to have other symptoms too so as Tascha said an infection sounds most likely, which makes me wonder where on earth they get these things from! One of those things I guess. Psittacosis can also have similar symptoms
@  Stinkie : (28 July 2015 - 07:24 AM) Morning Scarlett, he's gone back to sleep head tucked under wing :( No laboured breathing, no sneezing, he looks fine to me but I won't risk it. Vets closed atm haven't been able to get through yet.
@  Scarlett : (28 July 2015 - 07:21 AM) Morning Essie, are you booked in for the vets with him? How is he in himself?
@  Stinkie : (28 July 2015 - 06:55 AM) He didn't sneeze at all overnight, woke him up just now and his morning poo was really tiny :(
@  DizzyBlue : (28 July 2015 - 06:01 AM) Ooo Essie I hope Stinkie is ok :( sounds like a respiratory infection going on let us know how you get on at the vets hun
