@  Julia : (28 January 2015 - 01:15 PM) Things are done differently in the US Walker, I used to live there! This place looks great. It is only natural that the kind people on this forum should be protective over something that in this country could seriously get hashed up.

@  DizzyBlue : (28 January 2015 - 04:28 AM) Hi Walker being uk based we dont have those stores here. Hmmm not sure i'm liking the idea of tons and tons of birds in one place though... are they all disease clear verified? Are they all leg rung so you know for definate how old your bird is .... personally when I picked my two youngest african greys i researched the breeder, went on to a waiting list and travelled a couple of hundred miles there and back to visit them as they grew up. Sometimes its far better to wait and know for certain how your bird is being raised etc etc during the waiting time you can bird proof your home, save for the correct cage and make it the largest you possibly can research and read up etc etc plan for being a parrot owner to the specific breed chosen. I sat on a waiting list rather than just go buy any available bird going. Somethings are better waiting for, after all there going to be with us for lots of years to come :)
@  Walker : (27 January 2015 - 11:41 PM) wait*
@  Walker : (27 January 2015 - 11:41 PM) So i think senegal it is i'm going to have to 8-9 weeks or more for a weaned handfed baby bird but its worth the wait. Now my other option is to go to The Bird Store, now this store is not like petco or petsmart its like a place where people breed their birds and sell them to the store. So theres tons and tons of different kinds of parrots at reasonable prices. Im going over there next week to check it out if i do like a bird that is weaned but still very young then ill buy it.
@  Lou : (27 January 2015 - 10:33 PM) Hi Walker :)
